...
I got to go to this sweet beach today which was so ligit. Best waves i've prolly ever been in. It was awesome. the weather has been great the past week. finally started to cool off a bit. Plust i get to watch some of the olympic highlights from an aussie commentator late at night before i go to bed.
the Lord is really working in my life and challenging me to give up my life, so that i can gain it.
We recently did father heart of God week which was really neat. Realizing how much God is behind us.
If you could pray for me to give the Lord complete control over my life and my future. It's alot easier said then done when we have emotions and goals for what we think our life should look like.
Also if you could pray for my finances as well. and pray that i would have clarity on where the Lord wants me next year, time is ticking and i need to have somewhat of an idea on where i should be.
I miss you all
God Bless

P.S. Let is snowwwww... so lucky you people

Go Saints
Well i watched the super bowl yesterday at 11 in the morning, it was monday. We watched it at this house here in mayfield with a bunch of staff it was so awesome. I could hardly contain myself really. The upside it was american commentators via pay per view but since it was paid for there were no commericals. It was so sweet tho.
I have been playing a lot of soccer as well. It's been really sweet. Yesterday i met this guy abdulle from dubai. we are gonna try and get together soon and play some soccer again.
The Lord is doing some really neat things in my life. This past week we learned about hearing the voice of God. The thing that stuck out to me most is that His voice always aligns with scripture and a weight will be lifted after we decide to follow it. He speaks through many different ways, whether it be the Bible or by leaders. The key is to always seek His peace and His word.
How amazing that the God of the universe loves us. Wow.

I forgot to mention that we did some evangelism last night in the mall which was pretty cool, it's very relaxed and more relational. Basically we just try to build relationships with people we meet and then find out about what they believe.
Youth street is again tomorrow and the last 2 weeks have been so awesome as i am connecting with 3 guys from newcastle that are on the sports team. It's neat cuz their first time coming was two weeks ago and that was my first time as well.
Check these videos of the vastness of God out... try the first 9 min, if you arent interested then don't watch the rest. It's sweet tho.

Good-day Mates
Anyway so i went surfing today and it was sick. I have been playing a good bit of soccer as well. I'm one of the chef's for dinner which is pretty sweet. Yea alot of our time is spent in worship and in lectures at this point. We have learned about the character of God as well as Biblical choices which was really cool. It's sweet to see in Gen 1 and 2 how God really intended this world to be. He wants to work together with us to fulfill his great commission.
Thank you so much for all of your prayers, I really am thankful. i have a peace about being here and yes i got my luggage on monday. lol It taught me how to live with next to nothing so it was fine.

Leaving for Canberra
Thank you again for your prayers. If you could continue to pray for my heart and that i would be so content and comfortable here i would greatly appreciate it. It's still big to me to be here. We are leaving shortly for Canberra which is about a 5 hour drive south of here. We will be camping out and living in tents for the next 5 days for ywam's 50th anniversary celebration thing. Should be fun. Still no luggage but i'm sure it will be here when we get back? Hopefully. Things are going well... we had our first Youth street event yesterday, it was cool i got to work with the kids and meet a ton of people.
God Bless

Wednesday...
Well thank you for your prayers.. i have 3 awesome roomates in a very small room but it's all good. Well my luggage still hasn't arrived but it's just showing me that i really don't need all that i packed. I have been washing my boxers in the shower with me and borrowed a few shirts from my boy(friend) from L.A. There are 8 people in my DTS 5 guys and 3 girls. the girls are all from the states but the guys... two from Australia, one from Newzealand and one from Alabama. It's pretty cool. God gave me a peace today that this is where i am supposed to be. I am so busy so it's hard to stay connected with home but that's why i am here. I feel through the lectures already that i am learning alot through it. We will start our "Youth Street" outreach every saturday afternoon and evening this weekend which will be with the locals from Newcastle high-schools which will be really neat.
Thank you all
Scott
I am still raising support for my outreach phase in South Africa but i really appreciate all the donations that everyone helped me with. I am so blessed. Thank you kindly.

Phoenix is sweet
My tendancy of posting 2 days will probably not continue but i guess i will try to keep everyone updated. I am sitting in the Phoenix airport and it was an amazing flight. It was kindof a teaser as i will have a long flight ahead of me to Sydney. God is so good. I was challenged and encourage as i read in Mark during my flight, how Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick, I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." I guess it just showed me once again how we are here to reach out and help, and that it takes faith to reach out your hand to the broken. Who are we to keep the gift a secret.
God Bless,
Scott Jordan
